Our well got drilled this week! We learned a lot about wells and water and gallons per minute from the pros at the well drilling company. We learned we had to have a flow of at least 5 gallons per minute to support our dwelling. We also learned that without water, all the concrete and trusses in the world wouldn't make a house. Duh, but it is funny that you don't think of that immediately. In the end, we drilled 200ft. and got 10 gallons a minute through two different underground streams. We also got basement walls this week. Whoo hoo!!! We hear that trusses are on the way next week. The well drilling offered up some interesting photos. Enjoy and see you next week!
